Cogito announces Extension of Its Talent Acquisition Programme with EUMETSAT
Cogito is delighted to announce an extension to its current talent acquisition programme with EUMETSAT (European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites). Following a successful first two years in which Cogito has delivered a comprehensive talent mapping, candidate screening and candidate insights service, the partnership will now extend until 2025.
EUMETSAT is an intergovernmental organisation based in Darmstadt, Germany, with 30 Member States. The data and products from EUMETSAT’s satellites are vital to weather forecasting and make a significant contribution to the monitoring of the environment and climate change. Read more about Eumetsat
Over the past two years, Cogito has provided a talent acquisition service targeting European candidates across Scientist, Data Processing, IT, Engineering and Administrative skill areas, working as a collaborative partner to the Darmstadt-based HR and Recruitment Teams.
Beyond talent mapping and candidate screening, Cogito’s wide range of insights has helped EUMETSAT to understand more about candidate motivators, brand perception and the candidate experience, supporting strategic initiatives, including recruitment process, attraction and diversity.
“Working with EUMETSAT over the past 2 years has been an absolute pleasure; the open engagement with the HR and Recruitment teams has helped us to truly understand the needs of the hiring community whilst also providing a platform for us to share the insights we gather from speaking to candidates from all over Europe. EUMETSAT’s willingness to take onboard our recommendations to make improvements and utilise our reporting content gives our team great satisfaction and we look forward to continuing the relationship.”
“EUMETSAT have been working with Cogito since 2021. Rather than just a service provider, they have become a collaborative and trusted partner, helping us overcome the unique challenges we face recruiting niche candidates from a broad geographical region. In the period since initiating the relationship with Cogito, suitable applications have improved, candidate quality has improved and gender diversity has improved. There have also been notable improvements in the perceived candidate experience. As our recruitment processes have evolved, Cogito have adapted to add further value throughout the lifecycle. They are a force multiplier and EUMETSAT have benefited considerably from our relationship with them.”
EUMETSAT is growing, with an ambitious target of launching and operating a new satellite each year until 2025 which will require substantial recruitment across all business areas, presenting incredible career opportunities.
Rather than sitting back and waiting for the ideal candidates to come to you, talent mapping enables your organisation to take a proactive approach in sourcing, engaging and hiring talent for either single or multiple roles. Assessing your future talent requirements and enabling you to effectively appraise the skills and viability of your workforce, talent mapping will allow you to establish if they meet the future needs of your business.
Through evidence-based reporting will give you a comprehensive understanding of the candidate market, knowing who candidates are, where they work and what they earn.
