Introducing Cogito HR

This month sees us reach a key milestone in our long-term strategy.

Back in 2014, when we started Cogito, our services focused on what the founders could do – mainly recruitment. But our dot on the wall (small back then but a bit bigger now) was to be an HR Consultancy, which combined the experience and minds of brilliant people across the entire HR remit with unrivalled data analysis and insights.

After nine years of evolving to demonstrate different ways of working across talent acquisition and employer brand, introducing a range of training and exciting people research services, we now launch Cogito HR.

This will enable us to support our customers in more and more ways, focusing on the full employee lifecycle, bringing together our specialist elements in TA, L&D, Brand and People Analytics with HR Strategy, Advisory and Outsource.

As a small business leader, I have experienced first-hand the challenges and concerns when it comes to undertaking HR tasks while still trying to run the business. When you are not an HR expert, it’s time-consuming trying to make fact-based, compliant and progressive people decisions, which reduce risk and increase employee engagement.

So we will initially, focus on two main scenarios:

• Outsourced or Project-based for Small Businesses (<150 FTE) with no, or limited, HR capability and need support to keep things moving, progressive and compliant!
• Transformational or Strategic projects for businesses of any size with a need to bring in HR expertise so that the internal team can focus on other HR tasks or where the team do not have the required specialism.

We are all about offering an adaptable and dynamic HR solution that is tailored to the support each customer needs, not an off-the-shelf product.

Our goal is to support business leaders in creating amazing places to work, enabling them to spend more time on achieving strategic and financial goals.
