About the role
We are seeking an experienced recruiter to join our dedicated client solutions division and provide a fantastic hiring experience for candidates and our customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with RPO or inhouse recruitment experience to work with businesses based across a wide range of sectors and geographies, and offer much more than traditional recruitment provision.

We operate a hybrid working model, as such this role will be mainly split between home working and time in our Bristol based office each week, along with occasional visits to customer offices.

Our client solutions range from full RPO; in which we conduct delivery along with evolving the model to include workstreams including Employer Branding, Manager Training, Candidate Experience and Assessments to Project based hiring in which we support our customers to engage with talent quickly and effectively.

The Role

As Talent Acquisition Specialist you will work with our key clients to conduct the full end to end recruitment process.

You do this by applying your candidate attraction, screening and assessment skills as you enhance the awareness of their fantastic business within candidate skills groups This will include candidate search through online recruitment tools, creation of engaging adverts which appeal to the needs of the candidate market and full candidate management throughout their candidate journey.

Working alongside the clients’ HR team you will provide consultative advice and high touch customer service to Hiring Stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are met, support within interview planning & interviewing and any improvements to the recruitment approach is understood.

About our Ideal Candidate

You will have solid experience gained in RPO, outsourced solutions or in-house. You do not have to be a skills specialist, in fact breadth of recruitment experience is a bonus.

Amongst your strong attributes will be your ability to work on a range of vacancies at any one time, with a low level of supervision from line management, and be a strong communicator, able to effectively liaise with colleagues, customers and candidates in a highly professional manner.

The Offer

You will receive a salary of up to £35,000 plus bonus, along with Pension, 25 days annual leave plus bank holiday and Professional Development & Training.

About the role

Role Purpose

You will be at the forefront of our dedicated talent acquisition solutions to our key customer programmes. You will be part of a team sourcing candidates from across Europe and will be the first point of call for candidates as well as advising and guiding the hiring managers through every stage of the process, ensuring a smooth and effective delivery of solutions in a fast-paced International business environment.


You will work in close collaboration with Cogito Directors and Senior personnel to execute strategies and project workstreams which create an innovative and best practice recruitment model.

Role Detail

  • Effectively promote recruitment opportunities with our customers to passive and active candidates
  • Screen interested applicants in accordance to role and person criteria agreed with the hiring manager
  • Conduct passive research activities including database searches, social media, candidate networking and other online platforms to identify talent in accordance with client job descriptions and project briefs
  • Present candidate shortlists and submissions with clarity and highlighting relevance to the job role criteria
  • To work in close collaboration with Cogito and customer stakeholders to ensure each recruitment project is delivered on-time, on-budget and in full accordance with the project brief
  • Conduct research and data collation for market intelligence reports and customer specific insight reports including skills research, competitor and sector analysis, candidate perception and other customer projects using all available media and sources
  • Conduct research and data collation into Cogito competitor businesses to identify trends, best practice and opportunities
  • Maintain candidate engagement and talent pipelines to deliver updated talent market information to key customers
  • Conduct effective client engagement including building and developing relationships including participation in new role briefings, progress meetings, feedback sessions and other customer meetings.


About You

We are looking for someone who has solid experience in the recruitment industry, having worked as a consultant or in-house and really understanding how the full recruitment cycle operates.


You are:

  • able to develop knowledge of the business, gain an understanding of needs and then ensure the right approach is being fully utilised to achieve success
  • someone with a demonstrable experience of developing excellent relationships with Hiring Managers
  • comfortable working in a KPI environment
  • an exceptional communicator and able to provide a consultative and honest service to our candidates and clients.
  • someone who exhibits a passion for recruitment and is driven, fun and ambitious
  • someone who wants to be part of something unique

Covid and the Workplace

The current Covid pandemic has resulted in our team members spending more time at home than usual and whilst we embrace and are open to home working in the future, the majority of the time conducting this role will be at our office in Central Bristol.
